Renault reveals 2027 F1 concept car

– Renault has outlined a vision of what Formula 1 might look like in 2027.Renault follows in the footsteps of Ferrari and McLaren in revealing a concept car, as it looks to "generate inspired conversations with the racing community" over the future of the sport.Renault's so-called R.S. 2027 would feature two Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems, one front and one rear, generating 500kW, with the total amount of power coming in at 1 megawatt.Weight would be limited to 600kg and the fuel tank restricted to 60kg.Drivers helmets and cockpits would be transparent, while active LEDs in the wheels would show the driver's position and the car's energy levels, with telemetry available to...
