Brown expects Alonso 'to be in the mix'

– McLaren Executive Director Zak Brown says he expects Fernando Alonso to "be in the mix" for overall honours when he makes his debut at the Indianapolis 500 this year.It was announced on Wednesday that Alonso will compete for a one-car team at the iconic event, which will be fielded by McLaren, run by Andretti, and use Honda engines.Alonso has never competed at an oval event, but Brown believes the Spaniard has the ability to race at the front, citing Alexander Rossi's 2016 triumph as a rookie."Could Fernando win this year's Indy 500?
