Lack of preparation hurt Renault - Abiteboul

– Renault chief Cyril Abiteboul reckons the team's prospects at the Australian Grand Prix were hindered by a lack of preparation, in comparison to its midfield opponents.Renault completed fewer laps than only Toro Rosso and McLaren across pre-season testing, while Jolyon Palmer's lost track time during practice at Albert Park due to a crash.Nico Hülkenberg finished the opening round in 11th place, just a second shy of Force India's Esteban Ocon, while Palmer failed to reach the chequered flag due to a brake problem.Abiteboul acknowledged that Renault had not been as slick as its rivals and emphasised that it must improve in an array of different departments."This first Grand...
