Williams summoned over Stroll gearbox incident

Williams has been summoned to a meeting with the Australian Grand Prix stewards on Sunday morning, after failing to inform the FIA it intended to change the gearbox on Lance Stroll's car. Stroll crashed in the closing minutes of Saturday morning's final free practice session, damaging the right hand side of the car and forcing a gearbox change. While the team worked flat out to get Stroll's car repaired in time for qualifying – with the Canadian rookie making it out for Q1 before ending up 19th overall – it failed to inform the FIA of its plans to change gearbox.
