Abiteboul confirms Renault ERS issue fixed

– Renault Managing Director Cyril Abiteboul says the manufacturer has addressed the Energy Recovery System (ERS) issue which affected its running during pre-season testing.Renault entered testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya wary that it had an issue with an element of the ERS, the problem having shown up on the company's dyno.Renault's engine chief, Rémi Taffin, revealed that on-track running "magnified" the problem, with Jolyon Palmer and Nico Hülkenberg's mileage totals restricted.Taffin expressed confidence that a fix could be put in place in time for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, and Abiteboul has now confirmed that the issue has been...
