Barcelona Testing – Fernando Alonso was left frustrated having lost the whole morning session of the first day of pre-season testing. The McLaren driver returned to the pits after his first installation lap only to discover an oil system issue, which would take several hours to fix. McLaren changed his Honda power unit for a new one and have sent the faulty one back to the factory to be investigated. “It’s definitely not a perfect start to winter testing.
