Horner: Shark fin has crept in through a rules loophole

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner is not a fan of the shark fins that have returned to Fromula 1 car design for the first time since 2010, and reveals that they are back due to a loophole in the 2017 technical regulations. Horner told journalists in Barcelona, “I think the cars look fantastic. What lets them down is the shark fins, proportionally. It is something that we raised at the Formula 1 Strategy meeting last year, to ask that all teams remove them because it is pretty marginal, the performance gain that they offer.
