Williams appoints de Beer as aero chief

– Williams has announced the signing of Dirk de Beer as its new Head of Aerodynamics.De Beer started his F1 career as an aerodynamicist at Sauber, before joining Renault in 2008, where he spent five years as Head of Aerodynamics, and moving on to Ferrari (Chief Aerodynamicist).He departed Ferrari last year and will start work at Williams on March 1."I am extremely pleased to be joining Williams," said de Beer."The team has an incredible heritage in Formula 1, and I'm proud to now be a part of that."I'm looking forward to working with Dave Wheater and the Williams aero team to help continue driving forward the development of the car throughout the season and...
