EU Parliament backs call for F1 probe

– Members of the European Parliament have supported a call for an investigation into anti-competition behaviour in Formula 1, through a vote, opening the door for the European Commission to take action.South East Labour MEP Anneliese Dodds called for an investigation in an amendment to the parliament's annual competition report, which was approved and put to vote on Tuesday.It comfortably passed by 467 votes to 156, with 86 abstentions, as per the BBC.Although not duty-bound, the European Commission could launch an inquiry.Towards the end of 2015, Force India and Sauber lodged an official complaint to the European Union regarding an "unfair" and "unlawful"...
