Vandoorne curious over cornering speeds

– McLaren driver Stoffel Vandoorne says he is eager to discover the full potential of Formula 1's new generation of cars when pre-season testing gets under way later this month.According to calculations, Formula 1 lap times are expected to be around three to five seconds per lap quicker in 2017, through overhauled aerodynamics and much wider Pirelli tyres.Vandoorne, speaking in an interview for the McLaren website, suggested that drivers will now be flat-out through the high-speed Turn 3 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya."I'm really hoping that we'll be able to take Turn 3 at Barcelona flat this year," he said."It's a corner that I've been able to take flat in the...
