Todt: Thanks Bernie and welcome Chase Carey

FIA president Jean Todt has welcomed Liberty Media appointed CEO Chase Carey to Formula 1 while hailing Bernie Ecclestone's contribution to the sport. In the wake of the major changes to F1's senior management, the world governing body of motor sport released the following statement: 'The FIA wishes to thank the outgoing CEO of the Formula One Group, Bernie Ecclestone for more than 40 years of dedication to the FIA Formula One World Championship and as a member of both the F1 Commission and World Motor Sport Council.'
