Marcus Ericsson: Pascal Wehrlein move ‘great news’ for Sauber

Sauber’s Marcus Ericsson says Pascal Wehrlein joining the team for the 2017 Formula 1 season is “great news”. The Swedish driver admitted he rates Wehrlein highly and feels the young driver making the move from Manor to Sauber will help push both him and the team forward. Ericsson was confirmed at Sauber for a third season last November, while Wehrlein’s switch – after losing out on the Mercedes seat – was announced on Monday.
