Red Bull's Gasly to race in Super Formula

– Red Bull-backed GP2 Series champion Pierre Gasly will follow in the footsteps of McLaren's Stoffel Vandoorne by racing in the Japan-based Super Formula championship in 2017.Gasly beat Prema team-mate Antonio Giovinazzi to the feeder title but was overlooked for a Formula 1 drive, with Daniil Kvyat keeping his Toro Rosso seat alongside Carlos Sainz Jr.Gasly will also continue as Red Bull's third driver, providing back-up to Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen."This a big new challenge for me and that is exactly what I love," said Gasly."For sure Japan is special.
