Nico Rosberg becomes Mercedes ambassador

World Champion Nico Rosberg will continue to act as an ambassador for Mercedes in 2017, despite having retired from Formula 1. Rosberg, 31, joined Mercedes in 2010 after four seasons with Williams and emerged as a title contender when the squad vaulted to the front of the grid under new regulations in 2014. Rosberg finished runner-up to Lewis Hamilton in 2014 and 2015 but turned the tables last year, beating his team-mate to the title by just five points after a record-breaking 21-race season.
