Valtteri Bottas close to Mercedes switch, says Williams deputy principal

Williams deputy principal Claire Williams says Valtteri Bottas is close to leaving the team to replace Nico Rosberg at Mercedes. Rosberg retired after becoming world champion last year to leave Mercedes without a team-mate for Lewis Hamilton. "It is exactly that," said Williams when asked if it was a question of "crossing the t's and dotting the i's" on the 27-year-old Bottas' move.
