Ecclestone says Rosberg retirement 'helps' F1

F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone reckons Nico Rosberg's retirement from Formula 1 will benefit the sport, and has openly expressed his joy as the 2016 world champion will not return to defend his trophy.  Nico Rosberg faced defeat to Lewis Hamilton for two successive years, until finally beating the British world champion to claiming the 2016 F1 championship in Abu Dhabi; just five days after Nico Rosberg was crowned champion, he announced his retirement from the sport.
