Rio Haryanto won't be racing in Formula 1 in 2017 according to his mother, who confirmed the former-Manor driver will instead work for his father's stationary business in Indonesia. Haryanto made his F1 debut with Manor last year alongside Pascal Wehrlein, but was dropped by the team in favour of Esteban Ocon when his funding dried up from state-owned oil company Pertamina – which has now ended its sponsorship of the 23-year-old.
