Malaysia set to leave F1 after 2018

– The Malaysian Grand Prix is poised to drop from the Formula 1 calendar in 2019 after the country's Tourism and Culture Minister commented that the contract will not be renewed.Malaysia joined the calendar in 1999 and Sepang has remained a permanent fixture since, with a new three-year deal agreed during the 2015 event.The country's Sports Minister last month valued the worth of retaining the Formula 1 race and on Monday his counterpart from the Tourism and Culture sector concurred."The current agreement is from 2016 to 2018," Nazri Abdul Aziz is quoted by Today Online."So once that ends, there will be no more [Formula 1 in Malaysia]."F1 attendance is dropping...
