Nico Rosberg: “The conditions were really tricky out there”

Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team driver Nico Rosberg was pleased to come home in second place and keep the car on the road at Sunday’s Brazilian Grand Prix, in what he found to be tough conditions to drive in. “The conditions were really tricky out there today. Up the hill there was heavy aquaplaning and a lot of drivers went off the track. “I had a bit of a moment when I spun at one point but luckily this wasn't at high speed, so I was able to catch the car again.” The German admitted that team-mate and title rival Lewis Hamilton had just done a better job out there than him this weekend and so he could not complain with the second place finish he came away with.
