Sainz: Lack of power hurting Toro Rosso aero progress
Carlos Sainz says Toro Rosso’s aero progress is being hampered because it is having to make too many car compromises due to a lack of power. Toro Rosso is using year-old Ferrari powerunits, which have fallen away in the power stakes compared to the latest engines being used by other teams. One of the impacts of its horsepower deficit is that it is having to keep its downforce levels down so it does not lose too much time on the straights.
