Mercedes completes 2017 wet-tyre test
– Mercedes completed two days of running on 2017-size wet tyres at Paul Ricard this week, as part of Pirelli's extensive development programme, covering more than 1500km in the process.Mercedes-supported Pascal Wehrlein racked up 135 laps on both Wednesday and Thursday, equivalent to 1582.47km, following Pirelli's dedicated slick-tyre test at the venue earlier in the month.Pirelli's 2017 Intermediate compound dimensions are 305/675-13 at the front and 405/675-13 at the rear, with the Wet compound coming in at 305/680-13 at the front and 405/680-13 at the rear.Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull are all taking part in the development work in mule cars, modified to simulate 2017 downforce...
