Ricciardo: Part of me wishes I did a different sport

Daniel Ricciardo arrived at Red Bull in 2014 just when their dominance of Formula 1 gave way to Mercedes, since then the big smiling Aussie has been the main man chasing the pace setters, a role he is starting to resent because he simply does not have the equipment at his disposal right now to bag the biggest prize in motorsport. In a recent interview Ricciardo looked back on venting his frustration earlier this year, 'Obviously after Monaco I made some comments that I’m 27, and I don’t have anything. I think that’s just the competitor and the desire coming out.'
