Rosberg claims home pole in Germany

Nico Rosberg has claimed pole position at Germany, despite facing crucial electronic problems during the first part of the Q3 session. The German drivers fastest time was a 1.14.363, and was 0.107s clear of his team-mate, Lewis Hamilton. Vettel could only go sixth fastest at his hope race for Ferrari, and was out-qualified by his team-mate. Story of the session  With the light going green, Manor's Pascal Wehrlein was first to head onto track here at the lush forests of Germany, however other drivers weren't so fast to react; unlike last time out in Hungary.
