Bite-size tech: Toro Rosso STR11 front wing
As part of its upgrade package, Toro Rosso has introduced a new front wing in Germany which features several distinct differences when compared with its predecessor. The flaps have different chord lengths to accommodate the circuit characteristics, whilst their tips have been reshaped (red arrow) to change their aerodynamic impact on the Y250 vortex, which is shed from the juncture of the mainplanes flap and neutral section below.
