Ocon to receive further FP1 chance in Germany

Renault Sport Mercedes young driver Esteban Ocon will receive another FP1 outing at the German Grand Prix as part of his duties with Renault. Ocon has taken part in three Friday sessions this season, in Spain, Britain and Hungary, and will return to the cockpit of the RS.16 at Hockenheim. Ocon has also taken part in three test days, one for Renault and most recently two days worth of action with Mercedes at Silverstone. Ocon, the reigning GP3 champion, has experience of Hockenheim, having competed at the circuit during his Formula 3 title-winning campaign in 2014. Ocon also sampled the circuit earlier this season in DTM, where he races for Mercedes.
