Alonso: McLaren was 'best of the rest'

McLaren Honda Fernando Alonso was pleased that McLaren could show it was "best of the rest" as he returned to the points courtesy of seventh place at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Alonso started from seventh but jumped ahead of Toro Rosso's Carlos Sainz Jr. at the start, before being overhauled by Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen after the first round of stops. Alonso kept Sainz Jr. at bay across the remainder of the race as he added a further six points to McLaren's tally.
