Kvyat: I don't know what happened

Daniil Kvyat was lucky to walk away unharmed after a high speed crash during qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix, and afterwards joined a chorus of drivers questioning the safety of the ‘sausage' kerbs dotted around the Red Bull Ring track. Speaking to media after the crash, Kvyat admitted, 'I don't know what happened. The suspension broke, very weird. Once it broke it just steered me to the right. After a puncture earlier, we have lots of things to investigate.' Replays seem to suggest a suspension failure on the right rear of the Toro Rosso, which resulted in Kvyat's car spinning before slamming the wall – the impact was big.
