Honda's new ERS ‘on level' with Mercedes

Honda F1 chief, Yusuke Hasagawa believes their new F1 ERS system for the coming F1 races is now on-level with leading F1 team, Mercedes. Honda's poor ERS package during the 2015 F1 season was one of the reasons that kept McLaren towards the very back of the field, and as a result, the team have worked very intensively to fix the problem over the winter break. Clear leaps have been seen from McLaren, having finished as high as fifth place in Monaco, and in addition Fernando Alonso has made three Q3 appearances thus far this season. Hasagawa admits he was relieved from the leaps made by Honda from the Energy Recovery System side, given Honda were able to match top teams in two or three...
