Steiner cagey on Haas tyre gamble

Canadian Grand Prix – Haas team principal Guenther Steiner is cautious about the team's decision to run an aggressive tyre strategy at the Canadian Grand Prix. Despite the soft, supersoft and ultrasoft being the available tyres this weekend, both the Haas and Renault teams will be competing the Canadian Grand Prix weekend without any supersoft tyres. Instead, Haas have selected three sets of soft tyres and ten sets of ultrasofts tyres per driver – more than any other team. The ultrasoft tyre made it's debut at the previous race in Monaco, but prior to that, any mileage on the ultrasoft tyre would've taken place during an official test day.
