Ericsson and Kvyat receive grid penalties following Monaco incidents

Both Marcus Ericsson and Daniil Kvyat will lose grid positions for the Canadian Grand Prix after being found responsible for accidents during Sunday’s Monaco Grand Prix. Ericsson will drop three places in Canada following a clash with Sauber team-mate Felipe Nasr at Rascasse that damaged both cars and ultimately forced both into retirement. In addition to his grid penalty, Ericsson also received two penalty points on his Superlicence, meaning the Swede now has six penalty points to his name.
