Raikkonen gets five place grid drop

Scuderia Ferrari Kimi Raikkonen has been handed a five place grid penalty for this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix due to an unscheduled gearbox change. Ferrari informed the technical delegate, Jo Bauer, of the change following the conclusion on Saturday's third practice session, in which Raikkonen placed ninth. As the gearbox has been changed before the obligatory run of six consecutive events, Raikkonen will be shuffled back five places from wherever he qualifies.
