Kvyat hails "crucial" day of testing with Toro Rosso

Daniil Kvyat says Wednesday's productive day of testing at Barcelona was "crucial" for him in making progress understanding the Toro Rosso F1 car. Kvyat was moved to the Faenza-based team for the Spanish Grand Prix, having raced with Red Bull in 2015 and in the first four races of the season. The Russian finished in 10th pace in the Barcelona race, four places behind teammate Carlos Sainz. Kvyat said he needed more time to be able to extract the best from the car, and he admitted today's 116 laps were very important to him. "It was quite crucial," said Kvyat. "Obviously the more laps I can get in this new car the more laps I can get familiar with it....
