Honda confident Alonso engine undamaged

– Honda chief Yusuke Hasegawa is confident that Fernando Alonso's power unit was not damaged as a software issue truncated his race at the Spanish Grand Prix.Alonso, who had secured McLaren-Honda's first Q3 berth since its reunion at the start of 2015, was chasing down a top 10 position when he had to pull to the side of the circuit.It marked the second successive Spanish Grand Prix in which Alonso has failed to reach the chequered flag, though team-mate Jenson Button was able to add to McLaren's points tally with ninth."It was a bittersweet [race]," said Hasegawa.
