Reports: Verstappen/Kvyat to swap seats
Reports emerging online on Wednesday evening suggest that Daniil Kvyat is to lose his Red Bull Racing seat with immediate effect, with Max Verstappen promoted to take his drive. Kvyat is understood to have drawn the ire of his Red Bull bosses after the Russian GP, a race which saw Kvyat pile into the back of former RBR star Sebastian Vettel twice in three corners. One of the collisions also compromised teammate Daniel Ricciardo, meaning the Bull's races were ruined almost immediately. A furious Dr. Helmut Marko, lead man behind the young driver program at Red Bull, said that the team would meet to discuss the incident with Kvyat after all the parties 'cooled down' a bit.
