Kvyat-Vettel second contact was a racing incident – F1 veterans Dannil Kvyat hit Sebastian Vettel twice in the opening three corners, ruining his own race, ending Vettel’s, and destroying teammate Daniel Ricciardo’s chances of a top five finish. The Russian’s performance in China elected him the fan voted Driver of the Day award, an aggressive move at the start winning him praises — as did standing his ground to an angry Vettel after the race.
