Pirelli choose fastest tyres for Austrian GP
Pirelli have confirmed tyre allocation for the Austrian Grand Prix, with the fastest available tyre – the new ultra-soft tyre – being deployed for the third time this season. For round nine of this year's championship at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, drivers will choose from the soft, super-soft and ultra-soft compounds for their thirteen-set allocation. The ultra-soft tyre, which is an addition to the tyre selection for 2016, has yet to be used so far this season, with the opening venues having higher tyre degradation circuits.
