Force India: Collisions masked true pace

– Force India drivers Nico Hülkenberg and Sergio Pérez reckon the pace of the VJM09 was masked in Bahrain after both suffered contact during the opening stages of the race.Hülkenberg started from eighth position but damaged his front wing on the first lap, while Pérez surged from 18th to 12th before he clipped Toro Rosso's Carlos Sainz Jr. at the start of the second lap.Both drivers were forced to pit for repairs, which scuppered their strategies, and the pair came home a lowly 15th and 16th, with Hülkenberg passing Pérez on the final lap."I made a poor start away from the line and was on the back foot going into Turn 1," said Hülkenberg."Then suddenly three or...
