Jolyon Palmer: 11th place in Australia the maximum for Renault

Jolyon Palmer says 11th place in the 2016 F1 season opener was the “maximum” Renault could have expected. The British driver made his debut in the series in Australia, starting from 13th on the grid. He enjoyed some exciting battles on track and benefitted from rivals experiencing issues to move up to 11th, finishing just outside the points.
