Hamilton pips Rosberg & Vettel
Lewis Hamilton will go into the first battle for pole position in 2016 on the back of a hat-trick of fastest practice times as Mercedes edged out Ferrari in Practice Three at the Australian GP. The opening day of the new season had proved a damp squib with intermittent rain in Melbourne scuppering attempts to gauge how the pecking order stood at the first race.
