Latifi to get F1 free practice run as Renault test driver

Canadian GP2 driver Nicholas Latifi has signed on as a test driver for the Renault Formula 1 team - and will get at least one free practice session in the 2016 season. The 20-year-old has been a regular on the European single-seater scene since 2012, with stints in European F3 and Formula Renault 3.5. He finished 11th overall in FR3.5 with Arden last year, and will be moving to GP2 with the frontrunning DAMS squad this year.
