Pirelli reveals tyre compounds for European Grand Prix
F1’s tyre supplier Pirelli has announced the tyre compounds it will take to Azerbaijan for the European Grand Prix. The race will take place on the streets of Baku and will be the first to take place in the country. There has not been a European GP since the Valencia round in 2012. The red super-soft, yellow-marked soft and white-banded medium compounds will be taken to Azerbaijan by Pirelli. The tyre manufacturer opted not to take the new ultra soft. The tyre selection from Pirelli is the same as those chosen for the opening four races in Australia, Bahrain, China and Russia.
