Verstappen to receive engine grid drop
Red Bull/Getty Images Max Verstappen is set to receive a 10 place grid penalty after Renault was forced to change the engine in his Toro Rosso following Friday's free practice sessions for the Belgian Grand Prix. Verstappen, who regards this weekend's event as a home race, was 13th quickest during practice, one position behind team-mate Carlos Sainz Jr. Verstappen is consequently set to join McLaren pair Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button towards the back of the grid, after the pair were also handed engine sanctions. It is the second time this season that the Dutchman has been demoted, having received a 15 place grid penalty at the Canadian Grand Prix.
