Lotus/Pirelli contractual issues resolved

– Pirelli has confirmed that it held back Lotus' tyre allocation ahead of practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix due to contractual issues, but claim the situation has since been resolved.Lotus received its tyres shortly before Friday morning's first free practice session at the Hungaroring, and missed the opening half an hour as they were warmed up in blankets.While Pastor Maldonado and Jolyon Palmer only completed 13 laps during the session, Pirelli says the problems have been settled and the team should be unaffected moving forward."Yes, there were commercial and legal issues, but they are resolved now," a spokesperson for the Italian manufacturer explained to...
