Bottas to join Ferrari - Report
Ferrari have decided to drop Kimi Raikkonen for 2016 and replace him with Valtteri Bottas after agreeing to buy out his Williams contract , according to the Italian media. The F1 future of Raikkonen, the 2007 world champion, has been a talking point all season with his future hinging on whether Ferrari's management decide to take up the contractual option on his services for next season. Williams driver Bottas has been considered the number one candidate to replace his Finnish countryman and Italy's Corriere dello Sport newspaper has now claimed that Ferrari have struck a €12m deal with Williams to release the 25-year-old from the option the Grove team have on him for 2016.
