Hamilton proud of Intermediate tyre call
– Lewis Hamilton says he was proud of his decision to pit for Intermediate tyres earlier than his rivals during Sunday's British Grand Prix.Hamilton lost the lead to Williams driver Felipe Massa at the start, but used the undercut at the first round of stops to move back ahead.When rain began to fall in the closing stages, Hamilton was the first of the top four drivers to react, and ultimately took a comfortable win."Firstly, it was just a very, very special weekend for me," said Hamilton."To see so many fans out this weekend… I thought I'd seen it all last year, but I love those guys."The race was very tough; chasing down the Williams was very hard to get close...
