Pirelli unsure of optimum strategy

British Grand Prix – Pirelli's motorsport director, Paul Hembery, has said tyre degradation will be the biggest influence on teams strategies and therefore the race. Pirelli have opted for the two hardest sets of compounds for this weekends British Grand Prix, held at Silverstone. The Hard and Medium compounds are picked to cope with the circuit's high demands and tortuously high speed corners. The Silverstone circuit is regarded as being on the quickest circuits on the calendar, due to its fast flowing high speed corners being the key to achieving a fast lap by maintaining speed and momentum.
