Pastor Maldonado: “I think the track will suit our car”

Pastor Maldonado arrives at Silverstone on the back of two consecutive seventh place finishes, with the Lotus F1 Team driver looking to secure three points finishes in a row for the first time in his Formula 1 career this weekend. Maldonado has fond memories of Silverstone whilst racing in the GP2 Series, winning the Sprint race back in 2009 before taking the Feature race in 2010 on his way to winning the title with Rapax, however his best result in four attempts in a Formula 1 car was eleventh back in 2013. “I have always enjoyed racing at Silverstone since my first visit back in 2007,” insisted Maldonado. “I also have good memories of it as I have had some great races there,...
