Hamilton explains reason for slow start

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton said that a minor issue led to extra wheel spin at the start of the Austrian Grand Prix, which contributed to his defeat to Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg. Hamilton started from pole position but lost the lead to Rosberg off the line, with a challenging on the run up to Turn 2 ultimately proving futile. Hamilton trailed Rosberg across the remainder of the race as his team-mate collected victory. "I had a problem with what we call the weight revs, I took my foot off the gas and the throttle was still on, dumped the clutch and just had lots of wheel spin," he said.
