Vettel does not expect gearbox penalty
– Sebastian Vettel does not expect to require a gearbox change after experiencing technical trouble during Austrian Grand Prix practice.Ferrari driver Vettel topped Friday's combined timesheets at the Red Bull Ring, one hundredth of a second up on Mercedes rival Nico Rosberg.But Vettel's day was far from smooth, as he stopped in FP1 after losing drive, and returned to the pits at the end of FP2 with a gearbox issue.When asked if this could lead to a gearbox change and subsequent five-place grid drop, Vettel shook his head and plainly responded: "No.""We had an issue with the gearbox, some of the sensors switched into alert mode," he added."We will have a...
