Michelin submits F1 tyre supply bid

– Michelin has submitted a proposal to become Formula 1's next tyre supplier.Formula 1's governing body, the FIA, last month opened a tender for interested parties to become the sport's sole tyre supplier from the 2017-19 campaigns.Current supplier Pirelli confirmed shortly after the tender was announced that it would be bidding to keep its role, providing the conditions are suitable."Yes, we have entered," Michelin Motorsport Director Pascal Couasnon told Autosport."The reasoning is we've been proposing ideas, talking about Formula 1 and that we are disappointed, especially where it is today tyre-wise."If we want to be credible and consistent then you cannot...
